To The Editor:

Let's see if I have this right: If I forge a bank official's name on a mortgage, when I get caught, I pay the bank $1,500 and get to keep the house!? The president of the United States and the Legislature back me on this, and I don't get prosecuted for the forgery? Almost sounds too good to be true.
