To The Editor:
This letter has been a long time coming. I don't know how anyone else feels about it, but every time I drive into the village of Waitsfield or out of the village of Waitsfield, I have to look at that disgusting stuffed animal, a bulldog or whatever it is, straddling a mailbox. It is dirty, filthy is more like it, moldy looking, and is a complete eyesore. It really downgrades the area. Why do we have to be subjected to that thing? I think the owners of it should put it on their private property, hook it on something in their yard, not in the public viewing area.
