To The Editor:

Our new selectman Logan Cooke deserves some recognition. When I arrived at the Waitsfield Elementary School yesterday morning at around 9 a.m., Logan was out saying hello to people on their way in. Many townsfolk would receive a hello or how’s your day from him on their way by; he was not pushing the hard sell. If they stopped to talk he would let them know he was running for select board. After sitting for the meeting and having lunch at the church, he was back out saying hello. I saw him again around 5 p.m. still out there long after most had gone home. The last time I drove past, it was getting on 7 p.m. and he was out in the cold and dark saying hello.
