‘It is sad’

To The Editor:

Someone killed the frog on our mailbox on Route 100 by Misfit Farm on April 21, 2012, at 12:30 a.m. It is sad to think people or kids think this is funny. It is sad they have to ruin it so others can’t enjoy it or make them smile. This hurts our feelings and Valley people. Sorry they are so mean.

What's more sad? A motorist getting killed because they were hit by another driver who was distracted by the green glow in the dark eyesore on your mailbox or whatever happened to your frog?

Grow up and stop trashing the town

Hurts the Valley people? Are you serious? What about the possibility of your eyesore distracting a motorist who should be keeping their eyes on the road instead of your glow in the dark from? We're all lucky that this from hasn't caused a serious accident, or worse. Not to mention how it brings a certain trashy element to our already trashy looking town.
I'm surprised the authorities or town planners haven't asked you to remover it sooner.
Just so you know, others DON"T enjoy it and it certainly doesn't make some of us smile. It makes me cringe and I am disgusted that you continue to think this sort of thing is acceptable.
Please think of others before you cause distracted driver their life.

What you really need to consider is how inappropriate it was to replace the frog with a sign with obscenities written on it for all, including children to , in your own words "enjoy" and "smile". Maybe put your mailbox on your side of the road at your "farm" instead of across the road right at your neighbors house and feel free to enjoy and smile all you want at your big green frog.
