‘What’s up with that?’

To The Editor:

About 4:30 on Mother's Day afternoon, we were returning home from a bicycle ride on East Warren Road. As we approached our driveway near the top of Roxbury Mountain Road, the dark-colored (maroon?) van with VT plates just ahead of us stops in the middle of the road. The driver, a lady in a white skirt, jumps out and runs over to my mailbox and helps herself to some of my daffodils. She was probably collecting a bouquet of stolen flowers to take to her mom.

What in the world is up with that?
