To The Editor:

I know many of you have taken or considered the "Localvore Challenge"  
and it's a great concept. Let's take it one step further. How about a
"Local Shop Challenge" for this holiday gift giving season? Support your local merchants, artists and friends by keeping your hard-earned and shriveling dollars in The  
Valley this year. We have some wonderful stores in our small  community and we're all struggling with rising costs and shrinking  revenues. Save gas, shop locally!
