To The Editor:
We need your help! This is a call to fellow good Samaritans and winter
enthusiasts who know how valued our local recreation time here is.
There was a snowboard lost on Monday, February 26, 2007, at the
Sugarbush Mount Ellen parking lot a little after noon. It's a Burton
Witchcraft, length: 151; color: dark blue and green with 2006 Burton
Mission bindings. We at Sugarbush Guest Services would like to help our
local friend and business woman locate her snowboard which fell off her
car rack Monday afternoon as she was leaving the resort.
Did you see it happen? She saw someone waving to her as she left and
didn't realize what happened until it was too late. We all know how
busy it gets here in The Valley during the winter holidays. This was
this woman's treasured item: her snowboard. It represents a chance to
unwind and be outdoors where we all can catch our breath and get some
balance in between our hectic work. If you know anything about this
snowboard, or found it by the side of the road near Sugarbush North, or
along German Flats Road headed south, or perhaps heard about someone
"acquiring" one like it, please call Kristy or Harry at Mount Ellen
Guest Services at 583-6867.
A reward is offered. Thanks for your good karma and understanding. Peace, fun and a ton of snow.
