To The Editor:
At the Friday night edition of Cabin Fever Follies, our table, the "ValleyVores," was honored with a first place award. Thank you, but the honor is not really ours. It belongs to the Valley farmers.
For those who were not there, our theme was going a step beyond
"ValleyVore" - most of our dinner ingredients, including some table
decorations, were all produced in The Valley. Our intent was to issue
the statement/challenge: "LocalVore is good; ValleyVore is better." On
behalf of all of us, we would like to offer a sincere thank you to all
the Valley farmers - whether their produce was featured in this
particular meal or not - for making the concept of ValleyVore possible.
