 To The Editor:

I thoroughly enjoyed Erin Post's description of mother Tina Karl and her two beautiful sons who have autism. You couldn't have described Tina's kids any better! Well loved, well cared for kids by a mom who is truly heroic in her efforts and demeanor of joy!

Additionally, fellow mom and friend to Tina, Claudia has been a supporting parent as they develop autism networks throughout central Vermont. I'm impressed every day by our growing culture's deep commitment to support other parents. Erin, thanks for the shot in the arm during Autism Awareness month. We need it every day but it's especially nice to celebrate it in awareness all over in April.
