To The Editor:

Regarding "FDR was right," I think I'm going to have to walk back some of my remarks about public unions.

In my ignorance, I thought the only time they were a threat to the country was during World War II. So it may be that I was (at least partly) wrong.

Condemnation of Republican voter suppression still stands. We know exactly what they're doing and exactly why they're doing it. We also know the hideously phony excuse they're using.

By the way, yes there are plenty of rich, greedy Democrats. Democrats' hands are not clean either. But, to paraphrase the great Mark Russell, we need to elect the lesser of two evils rather than the evil of two lessers. Go, Obama.
