To The Editor:
One day recently, while out in Montpelier, I saw the movie Buck at the Savoy—one of the best movies I've ever seen. Since I had to see it again, I asked at the Big Picture Theater if they'd carry it. Turns out several folks had asked the same, and it'll be here for another week, one showing at 7 p.m., rated PG.
The film, a documentary winner at the Sundance Film Festival, is the real-life story of Buck Brannaman who was hired by Robert Redford for his film, The Horse Whisperer. Whether or not you love horses (I used to train them), I call this a "life's lesson." If you do love horses, don't miss it. Google "Big Picture Theater" or "Buck movie" and you'll see what I mean, can make up your own mind. It's also a gem for anyone training animals, even bringing up kids! Lots of sensitive lessons. Enjoy.
