Opera in Waitsfield
To The Editor:
I don’t think most people realize that we in Waitsfield now have opera from the Metropolitan Opera in New York City available the second Thursday of every month. This takes place at the Big Picture Theater and costs less than other area theaters.
There is a huge screen, good sound and one can also eat and drink in the theater. Tickets at the Met cost much more so this is a wonderful bargain, and I wish more people would take advantage of it.
On November 10, Iphigénie en Tauride by Gluck will be playing.
