To The Editor:

It's a welcome benefit for a worthy cause. Here's a reminder: This Saturday, February 16, from 1 to 4 p.m., there’ll be a fundraiser for Circle (formerly Washington County's Battered Women's Services and Shelter) at the Mad River Valley's Senior Center, Route 100, Waitsfield.

Thanks to the Warren Church, Dana Donaldson, the Senior Center and others, there'll be a sale/party at the Center with all proceeds going to Circle and its work.

Sale items: Pre-owned jewelry and scarves, can be donated by those many of us who have such things to donate. There'll be tea, coffee, light refreshments and good company. Do come, and when leaving, know that many will benefit, including maybe yourself!

Again, many thanks to all who are behind this worthy cause.
