To The Editor:
A fact in last week's letter on the invasive wild bush honeysuckle needs clarification. The letter read "The paired bright red berries on 6 to 15 bushes." It should have read "on 6- to 15-foot high bushes." That makes it easier to see how one bush that high, with thousands of berries, each one containing three to seven seeds, can contain thousands to millions of seeds. And that's just one bush!
To answer several folks who wish to identify the correct honeysuckle, always look for that tiny tunnel in all the twigs, stems. Thanks!
