A reminder for those who know it and an essential for those who don't since the beautiful hanging fuchsia plants are out now. One thing is important for keeping them blooming: be sure to clip off the seed pods after each flower has bloomed. If they remain on the plant, the blossoms have done their job and less are needed. If they're cut off, new flowers will produce more pods (to be cut off).
My young grandkids loved to search them out and cut them off, but it's very easy to confuse them with new buds that haven't bloomed yet. Just check them out carefully to tell the difference and enjoy those beautiful plants!
