Bids going out for replacing the bridge over Rt 73 south of Rochester - request for proposals calls for bridge to be completed by October 15, 2011.
The Rt. 73 bridge was destroyed by flood waters caused by Hurricane Irene trapping people on the western side of the river until a temporary walking bridge could be erected.
