Mad River Path installs interpretive panels

The Mad River Path Association has installed five new interpretive panels at various locations along the Mad River Path system. The panels provide visitors information about the ecology and cultural and natural history of the Mad River Valley.

Panels are now installed on the Warren Path, at Riverside Park, at the Sugarbush Snowmaking Pond, on the berm off of Bridge Street (behind Maclay Architects) and along the West Greenway.

The panel project was made possible through a grant from the New England Grassroots Environmental Fund. Kristen Sharpless of Sharpless Ecology, LLC, and Bonnie Atwater of Atwater Design designed the panels, which were fabricated by Wood & Wood Signs.

The Path Association is a member-supported nonprofit organization whose mission is to build, maintain and conserve a system of continuous public pathways from Warren to Moretown to foster a healthy community by connecting the people, businesses and special places of the Mad River Valley.
