I knew Randy in the 70's when we were both stationed at the Cape Cod Canal Coast Guard Station. We both worked at Misashi constuction company in Sandwich Ma on our off days. He drove truck and I fixed equip. I remember his red beard and sense of humor. We drank many a beer together. He was a good friend and shipmate. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
