And, forever loved by her daughter Francoise and husband Ken Desautels and son Francois Borel and wife Lara, treasured grandsons Vladimir and Sacha Borel and cherished granddaughter Gabriella Desautels.
Rosie was born and raised in Marseille, France, and moved to Paris at the age of 28 to start a career at Air France where she met her husband Henri. Upon arriving in The Valley, together, Rosie and Henri ran Club Ten and later opened Chez Henri, Café Shelburne and La Patisserie.
Rosie spent many days combing the Vermont countryside for antiques and once the family barn was chocked full, she opened an antique shop in Waitsfield and later a little shop in Sugarbush Village. Rosie loved to play tennis with her dear friends as well as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Sugarbush. Rosie and Henri enjoyed travelling the world together, and she took great pride in learning new languages to practice on her many trips abroad.
