This year's fall play at Harwood Union School is the classic comedy by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, You Can't Take It With You. Since first appearing on Broadway in 1936 and later as a major motion picture starring Jimmy Stewart and Lionel Barrymore, this poignant story about the Vanderhoff family during the Great Depression in New York City has become a perennial favorite for theater-goers the world over.
This production features a cast of 19 students and is supported by a talented stage crew of 12 young theater artists. Directed and produced by Peter Boynton, the show will run Thursday through Saturday nights, November 20, 21 and 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Harwood theater. All tickets will be sold at the door.
