HU freeride team presents MLK rail jam

Harwood Union Freeride Team (HUFT) presents the MLK Day Rail Jam on January 21 at Sugarbush's Mount Ellen. This is an open competition. Registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; competition starts at 10 a.m. Many area businesses have donated great prizes which will be awarded to top riders, skiers, girls and U-15s. Proceeds benefit HUFT. 

The MLK Day Rail Jam is the first in a series of three events which will also include a Slopestyle Competition on February 17 and the first annual HUFT Invitational on March 8. For the Invitational, HUFT encourages other schools to put together four member teams which must include at least one rider, one skier and a girl.

HUFT, a club started by and for students, has grown to 47 members this year, more than twice its size since its inception in 2004. Come on out on
January 21 and see what all the excitement's about!
