‘Community member lost’

To The Editor:

Our community recently lost a great member.  With the passing of Jerry Tardif, we have lost a person who worked to bring health education to thousands, a supportive friend to many, an active ambulance member and a loving family man.

Over the past six years his struggle with lung disease has taken a tremendous financial toll on his family. To honor this wonderful man and the support of his family, we are taking up a collection to help cover some of the expenses.
