Bid and Boogie, a stick season favorite, takes place this Saturday, November 5, and features a silent auction, food, live music and dancing. Festivities start at 7 p.m. at the Gate House Lodge at Sugarbush with food followed by music with The Joshua Panda Band. This year’s auction items are shaping up to be the best ever.

This year, there are Sugarbush, Mad River Glen and Ole’s ski passes as part of the auction, along with ski clothing, jackets and equipment. There is also a house rental in Jackson, Wyoming.

This year, there are EMC Club level tickets to a game of the ticket holders’ choice (with some limitations), dinner and drinks at the EMC Club, access to the field during batting practice and a night in a downtown hotel. The EMC Club seats are plush including cocktail service. These tickets provide access to virtually the entire stadium.

Expecting a little one or know someone who is? This year there are several baby quilts, hats, bibs and other cute things in the auction.

Love to eat?  There are many gift certificates for local restaurants as well as ready-made hors d'oeuvres to thaw and cook at home. A Weber grill is also being auctioned.

There are also gift certificates for massages, facials and products as well as golf passes to Country Club of Vermont and Vermont National Country Club.

Organizers have also arranged for three hours of transportation via a “party bus."
