HUMS thespians to perform Seussical the Musical

On Thursday, May 10, the cast of the middle school musical Seussical, led by director Ruth Ann Pattee, will be touring area elementary schools to introduce them to the show and drum up interest in the upcoming performances. The cast will perform a short preview of the show at each school, culminating in a final preview performance at Harwood Union Middle School the following day. Since the beginning of the middle school musical program 12 years ago, the annual elementary school tour has proven to be a valuable teaching tool for the success of student-actors in the play. The event is also much enjoyed by the elementary students who are treated to a sneak-peak of the production. Seussical cast members include Colin Holter, Sadie Bolger, Maddie Lowe, Maddie McGeorge, Connor Delaney, Emma Helmken, Nina Sklar, Curtis Wilcox, Ava Kendrick, Kaleigh Hamel, Avery Montgomery, Chloe Riven, Maya Kalkstein, Morgan Vasseur, Maggie Delaney, Jashca Herlihy, Maura Riley, Phoebe Pacheco, Sage Evens, Sally Goodwin, Josie Allison and Aenea Mead. The troupe hopes the tour will generate excitement about the full performance of Seussical, which will be performed on Friday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, May 12, at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Harwood auditorium. HUMS Career Day 2012
