Nolan Kasper, Warren, stood on top of the podium on Tuesday, December 15, at a NorAm slalom race in Panorama. Canada's Paul Stutz and Great Britain's Noel Baxter followed Kasper in second and third place.

Kasper laid down two fast runs to take the win in the first of two slalom races in the series. Kasper crushed the field by a second. Stutz and Baxter finished closest to Kasper joining him on the podium in second and third.

Not including Kasper, the times were close. Stutz in second place and Chris Frank (Windham, NY) in sixth place were separated by less than a second.

Trailing the leader were fellow Americans Colby Granstrom (Lake Stevens, WA) in seventh, Ben Brown (Dillon, CO) in ninth, and Andrew Wagner (Traverse City, MI) in 13th. The USA totaled five racers in the top 15.
