Now there is a rather ugly and large barn/hotel blocking the view of the mountain. It broke my heart when I saw this finished piece of architecture. What was Sugarbush thinking? This completely ruins Lincoln Peak. Coming down the mountain you see it, driving in you see it. The building itself would not be too bad if it had not been dropped in the most awkward spot. I know that the extra condos or whatever were needed but I really wish it was done differently.

And the silo?  Though it goes with the cow barn theme, the silo was really not needed to complete the rustic ensemble. My grandfather remembers the mountain when it first opens and speaks about how everyone was floored by the beauty of the mountain. Now, you are floored by the barn that seems to have four different types of architecture in one. I see where the idea would be clever, but I do not think it was completely thought out.
