I think of all the grief, we who are motocross or trials course riders catch. People turn their noses up to our sport or just complain about the noise. Yes, some of our motorcycles are larger and louder. Nonetheless, if you research back far enough you will see that this area used to have a motocross trials race. How can people of this area stand behind one motorsport and not another? How can this be fair to everyone? In my opinion, it's discriminating.

If you take a moment, you'll see that the number of off-road motorcycles is ever increasing, with a large club right here in our midst. Why should we be forced to travel two-plus hours to participate in a race?

Those old motorcycles are quieter, but it wasn't that long ago that the sound of high-powered snowmobiles rang out from Kenyon's field. I rarely saw any opposition to those events.

It's very disheartening to see the support of one motorcycle event and no support for any others.
