I am outraged at business leaders and legislators' outright lack of concern toward the people from whom they profit. Bracing for a difficult economic future and that ubiquitous inflation word, recession word, housing word, etc. Wouldn't you think a compassionate capitalism could show its gentler side and meet the struggling working stiff halfway and still satisfy its corporate greed? Or how about that concerned legislator, allowing their constituents to be exploited in a moment of economic distress?

Having come up with the money needed to get a MINIMUM delivery, 100 gallons of home heating fuel, paying top dollar, roughly $4.80 a gallon, knowing full well the wealthier citizen pays well below that price, to then be informed an additional fee of $150 will be required to make that seven-mile trip to my house.

This is criminal!

Governor Douglas, how do you spell g-o-u-g-e?

Impecunious and singed
