To The Editor:

Regarding the wind turbine debate, there are different aspects. First environmental concerns: While I'm not qualified to discuss the intricacies of this subject, wait till Vermont Yankee has an accident and see what that does to your cares and woes.

Then there is the statement that not enough power would be generated to make much difference. There can only be one answer to that. We need a lot more of them! I have traveled extensively across this country and I've seen huge exquisite forests of them. Bet they make a difference.

Next there is the question of their placement on mountain ridges. Maybe that’s where the wind is.

Finally, some don't like what they do to the view. I happen to think they're beautiful. Now you may disagree. That's your right. On the other hand, I'm an artist and my aesthetic perception is superior to yours. How arrogant, you say. Don't care.
