Memorial Day preparations

To The Editor:

Members of Waitsfield-Fayston Telecom volunteered to paint the large flagpoles located in each of the four Waitsfield cemeteries this past week. The poles were in need of some sprucing up prior to Memorial Day. Jeremiah J. Rutledge and Lyle A. Douglas used the cable company’s boom truck to reach the highest places. The Waitsfield Telecom employees contribute many hours of community service each year to the town they serve. Waitsfield Cemetery Commission expresses their sincere gratitude for the help rendered by our local telephone and cable company.
