To the Editor:

There were two rather engaging photos in last week's Valley Reporter. The first one, Allen Gaylord's photo (hey there, Allen) shows a car almost entirely buried in a muddy road. The angle of the photo makes it look as if it is submerged almost to the roof. I am sure Allen could fill a book with all the crazy stories he's seen and done via Hap's garage.

The other photo was quite curious, too, with Bruce Perry's ski column. The caption reads, "All alone at the top of Lincoln Peak," but I don't think that is Vermont! Pictured is an above tree line ski area, with a lift on the far ridgeline. Looks like a beautiful place on a gorgeous powder day, Bruce. But where is it?

Thank you to all the hardworking people who helped us get through another winter, especially the Sugarbush snowmakers, groomers, employees and volunteers and our town road crews.
