Harwood Union’s 2019 girls’ All-Capital league team comprised of the top DII girls’ basketball players had Harwood’s very own freshman standout Mia Cooper on its roster.
Cooper was also selected for the Dream Dozen by the Vermont Basketball Coaches Association.
Coaches do not vote for members from their own team while making these selections. Each coach provides a top-10 list of players and a top-three list of coaches from their opponents’ rosters.
Tom Young, head coach for the Highlander squad this year, was named the 2019 Coach of the Year.
There will be a ceremony on Saturday, March 23, in Windsor to celebrate athletes and coaches.
