The Valley Reporter - Highlanders stopped by Lamoille, 6-4

The Lady Highlanders did not look ready to play for the first couple of innings as Lamoille quickly tallied five runs. The Harwood bats were asleep as well, as it was three up and three down for the first three frames.

In the fourth, Harwood notched four runs to make it a game. However, they could not push across the much-needed fifth run. Lamoille added an insurance run in the sixth.

The Highlanders' Brittany Hoare had two of the team's four hits. Mariah Liberty had a hit and an RBI. Ashley Sweet suffered the loss as Harwood now stands at 1-1.

The team travels to Lyndon, Thursday, April 24.
