Central Vermont Gymnastics Academy traveled to Bellows Falls this weekend for the 2013 Gymnastics State Championships. CVGA has seven Level 4 gymnasts, two Level 5s and one Level 6. All 10 gymnasts qualified to compete in the meet. This was the Level 4 team's first year competing at this level and in sanctioned USAG meets. Many of the young ladies placed in the top three all season.

Riley Gallagher, Waterbury Center, took the all-around Level 4 state champion title in her age group. Emily Bryant, Waterbury, took sixth all around and Alyson Bryant, Waterbury, took seventh all around. Emily Bryant is the Level 4 beam state champion in her age group. Alyson Bryant took third on uneven parallel bars. Rebecca Cote, Barre, Level 5 gymnast, took second on vault and Cassidy Murdock, Barre, also a Level 5 took third on uneven parallel bars. Mallory Dutil, Northfield, CVGA's only Level 6 gymnast, took second on vault and third on floor.
