Phantom Theater is off to an energetic start on July 6 when mostly teens from the Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio in Montpelier arrive to perform “New Works,” dances that have been choreographed for them, or that they themselves have choreographed. It is a tradition to start the Phantom season with young dancers, and this year the focus is on modern dance.
Artistic director Tracy Martin, an instructor at the dance studio, will be performing with her students this year, as will Waitsfield native Isadora Snapp, who will be coming to Phantom later with her show called “Catching a Glimpse.”
“New Works” will run two nights, July 6 and 7, at 8 p.m. at Edgcomb Barn in Warren.
