To The Editor:
Thank you to all who supported the annual Waitsfield School PTA Ski & Skate Sale. Whether you shopped, volunteered or sold items – or all of the above – we couldn’t have done it without you. Mother Nature graced us all with snow on the eve of the event; those entering the sale passed an igloo built by volunteers late Friday night. Bring on winter!
This event supports individuals selling goods they no longer want, provides those near and far with an opportunity to buy items at a great price, and funds an array of programs and opportunities in our school. From the crowds on Saturday morning to the quieter stream on Sunday midday, this event is also a great opportunity to socialize with neighbors and friends. We love the synergy of this event where our children benefit from people getting great deals and selling their used gear.
We are very appreciative of the ongoing support of the community, as well as Mad River Glen and Sugarbush who support the sale generously. Mark your calendars for November 9 and 10, 2019; we’ll see you at next year’s sale!
