To The Editor:
Waitsfield voters, please consider supporting Brian Shupe for the three-year select board term on March 3.
Brian has extensive and accomplished experience in town government including planning commission, development review board and as town moderator.
His dedication to the community can be seen in the effort he contributed to several town assets such as the planning district, Mad River Valley Television and Friends of the Mad River.
Brian also brings valuable experience in working with state government from his day job as executive director of the VNRC.
Brian and I don’t agree on all issues. We come from different political backgrounds. But from my experience working with Brian on the DRB, observing him as town moderator and witnessing him formulate compromise on the state government level, I know Brian deals and deliberates honestly, openly and in good faith. He would be a positive and constructive addition to the Waitsfield Select Board.
