To The Editor:
Anyone who knows me knows that I always try to make choices that will consider our community. It seems recently that our community is very polarized from the national level all the way through to local issues.
It is because of this great divide on points of view that anyone who runs for any office must develop the skills to engage people so that all sides of an issue can be heard. It is because of this quality that I would like to warmly recommend write-in candidate Russ Bennett to represent Waitsfield on the Harwood Unified Union School District Board. I have known Russ over the years from growing up here in the Mad River Valley and feel that his ability to make fair and thoughtful decisions on subjects might just be what we need to heal our community.
