To The Editor:

I am supporting Lt. Governor Zuckerman for governor because he stands for values that I hold.  Yesterday Governor Scott’s veto of Act 250 revisions reminded me about the fragility of regulations we have in place to protect Vermonters and the natural habitat that we want to conserve. As a developer I understand the challenges Act 250 can bring, but I also respect the need to balance regulation with environmental concerns. Climate change is something we all have to take responsibility for and address.

As a member of the Governor’s Commission on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders during an advocacy visit to the Legislature, he addressed our concerns and responded to our questions. I appreciated his thoughtful responses and consideration of the issues.

David Zuckerman listens and is passionate about social justice. He understands the need for strong leadership, whether it be to address the economy, education or health care.
