To The Editor:
The Mad River Valley Senior Center sincerely appreciates all the people that made June a wonderful month for Meals On Wheels:
• Our drivers have been very busy and we thank them all – some have 12 people on their list.
• Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Meals On Wheels Golf Tournament and to all who sponsored a hole at the event, Spencer and Mary Jane Potter and Woodchuck Golf for offering the course, all who played and donated, Vince Gauthier for setting the pins, board members who made goodies for golfers to enjoy, and the two anonymous T-shirt fairies who made shirts for the Meals On Wheels July 4 parade walk.
We want to thank:
• Rick Rayfield for always giving the seniors homemade bread each week.
• Our MRVSC board members who have been working tirelessly on planning the Meals On Wheels lunch and breakfast openings in July.
