I’m voting for Molly Gray because we need someone in the legislature with significant legislative experience. Next year we will have approximately 75-80% “first timers” in Montpelier enacting and changing laws. The lieutenant governor presides over the legislature, working with legislative committees. Having someone with the right vision and experience running day-to-day operations is essential to protecting Vermonters from bad laws and an ever-increasingly invasive federal government.
I first met Molly when she spoke to my class of high schoolers at Randolph Tech. Her ability to discuss issues from goat farming to cybersecurity and to connect with students, teachers and administrators in just one hour was incredibly impressive.
We currently have a very aggressive federal government. When we need something done to protect Vermonters, our legislators may lack the experience - Molly Gray does not. She cares about us, our state, and knows how to advocate and fight for us.
