This is far from over. Now that the votes have been cast and counted (hopefully), when Congress returns to Washington, there are only three short weeks to pass this legislation that could help save thousands of lives. Please ask our current and newly elected Congressional delegates (and other elected officials) to use their influence to help get this passed.

The Breast Cancer and Environmental Research Act would authorize the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to make peer-reviewed grants available to collaborative centers to study environmental factors that may be related to breast cancer. This legislation includes authorization of five years of funding for this purpose.

The facts are:  Every year 212,920 American women alone are diagnosed with breast cancer--and four members of Congress stand in the way of finding out what causes breast cancer and how to prevent it.

Time is running out to bring this bill to the floor for a vote before the 109th Congress adjourns!

Pink is pretty. Breast cancer is not. Tell Congress to find the cause--now!

Your help is needed--and appreciated!
