The entire time of my stop he was rather aggressive and unpleasant. When he returned he did not issue me a ticket but did harass me for a while asking me to take a field sobriety test. I had previously told him that I had just closed my store and was on my way to the assembly. After he was done and satisfied that I was not under the influence, he handed my license and registration back to me and walked away. I got out of the car to inspect my license plate lights and found that they were both operational. When I pointed it out to him he still did not offer any sort of apology or explanation for my being stopped.

A simple apology would have been significant for me not to consider this harassment. Even if either of my two plate lights had been burned out, I hardly think that this poses a threat to public safety.
