To The Editor:
A strong foundation–that is what our Valley is for Washington County's Circle, formerly Battered Women's Services and Shelter. Our major fundraiser, as many know, is our annual phonathon which we run out of the Barre-Montpelier area and The Valley. Because of the gracious reception we get here, it's always a pleasure to do, as well as touching base with folks we know.
Many thanks, again, to Jon Jamieson and his employees who make their space available for that one evening, our wonderful volunteers who make the calls, and especially to our Valley residents who donate anywhere from $10 to $500.
