When and where to vote

Midterms elections take place Tuesday, November 4.

This fall, Vermont voters will elect six statewide officeholders: governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer and auditor of accounts, as well as 150 members of the House of Representatives and 30 members of the Senate. The state's lone representative to the U.S. House is also up for election.

On Tuesday, Valley polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and a list of polling places for each town is included below. The last day to register to vote in this year's midterm elections was Wednesday, October 29.
