The Valley Reporter - Warren completes park and ride lot

This facility will assist in the effort of reducing the number of single occupancy vehicles on the roadway, which in turn helps to reduce vehicle pollutants and traffic congestion.

Wayne Davis, LTF project supervisor for the program development division, Agency of Transportation, reviewed all the potential application sites for constructability, accessibility, affordability and location. Out of the 13 applications received in the competitive grant process, 7 applications were approved for funding. Warren was selected for full funding at $10,550.

The Park and Ride facility is located just at the entrance to the town of Warren from the north just after the bridge on the right. There are Park and Ride signs posted at the lot for the convenience of the public.
