Twenty-one-year-old Nolan Kasper of Warren won the second run of the World Cup slalom event in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, on March 6. Kasper finished in second place with a time of 1:49.23, earning a spot on the World Cup podium for the first time.




Kasper finished in 10th place in the Alpine FIS World Cup slalom in Bansko, Bulgaria, on Sunday, February 28. His time of 1:51.73 was a World Cup career best after moving from 16th place after the first run.

With six races left in the World Cup, Kasper is the top ranked American in 18th with 148 points. The World Cup Championships begin on Wednesday, March 30, in Winter Park, Colorado.
