On April 15, 2013, at approximately 5:37 a.m., the Vermont State Police received information that an armed robbery had just occurred at the Mac's Market located on Route 100 in the town of Warren.  Investigation revealed a lone male entered the store and displayed a gun to the clerk and demanded money. The male was described as being over 6 feet in height, approximately 280 pounds, dressed in all black clothing, to include gloves and a mask covering his face.  The male then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.  There were no other customers in the store at the time of the robbery and the store clerk was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing and the state police are asking anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity, vehicles or persons in the area to call (802) 229-9191, or to submit an anonymous tip, simply text "CRIMES" (274637) to Keyword: VTIPS.
