Robinson

June 9, 1944 - October 28, 2025

Richard Wyman Robinson passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in Windham, New Hampshire. He was born on June 9, 1944, in Rochester, Vermont, to Phyllis (Mills) Robinson and Wyman Arthur Robinson.

Richard married Priscilla Jean Thayer on May 16, 1969, and they settled in Priscilla’s hometown of Warren. Fourteen years later, they welcomed their only child, Jason. Richard was a dedicated and hard-working father who enjoyed his family, coached Little League, and enjoyed trips to any seaside from Maine to Hawaii.

His favorite place was at home in Warren. There he was well known as a woodsman, gardener, hard worker, and friend. He worked for the Warren Town Garage for decades, helped Lenord Robinson dig Blueberry Lake, and was always available to lend a hand during sugaring season.

In his retirement, Richard could be found gardening, hunting with his best friend, Dale, fishing, watching the Red Sox and Celtics, and visiting Maine and New Hampshire when able. He had a large variety of wildlife that regularly depended on him – as well as grandkids, nieces and nephews who looked to him for laughs and smiles.

Richard is survived by his wife Priscilla Robinson; his son Jason Robinson and his wife Erin Robinson; his grandchild Tucker Owen Robinson; his sisters Betty Pierce, Bessie Wood, and Barbara Swain. He was predeceased by his mother, Phyllis, his father, Wyman, and his brother, Robert.

His celebration of life will be held on December 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Warren Town Hall (refreshments to follow). All are welcome to attend.
