John Parsons or known to many as "JP" of Waitsfield, Vermont, passed away on November 19, 2025. He was born in Newport, Vermont, and was a Vermonter to his core. He was a lover of sports and was often found on the golf course playing a sport that fed his soul.
He spent many years working at Sugarbush Resort in mountain operations as well as the Pro Shop at the golf course. He could be seen many mornings in the winter at the base of Bravo greeting guests with a big smile and a helping hand. In the summer he switched gears and brought that same spirit to the golf course. Golf was JP's passion and that was where he was most at home.
He is survived by his brother James Frederick Parsons of Fort Myers, Florida, and his partner of 16 years Siobhan Grady.
There is a small gathering at The Round Barn for close friends and family December 21 at 2 p.m.
